Alleged Battlefront 4 Concept Art Includes Dark Side Obi-Wan

A Jedi Darth Maul? Why not?

Alleged concept art for the canceled Star Wars Battlefront 4 feature a host of beloved characters in surprising form, like a dark side Obi-Wan Kenboi and a Jedi Darth Maul.

The images surfaced on Imgur, as reported by Eurogamer, and they seemingly hint at the vision developer Free Radical Design had for the game, which the studio reportedly worked on before Star Wars Battlefront 3 was canceled in 2006. There’s concept art of Luke Skywalker falling to the dark side, Count Dooku becoming a Jedi, a version of Chewbacca who never escaped slavery, and both a light and dark side Princess Leia.

There’s also art showing Darth Vader becoming the Emperor and a redeemed light side Vader, based on Hayden Christensen. Check out the concept art in the image gallery below.
